  • Strong research, analytical and communication skills, with the ability to present complex issues clearly and persuasively
  • Experience managing projects in line with strategic objectives
  • Excellent relationship management skills, with the ability to engage effectively with elected members, staff, stakeholders, and the public
  • Confidence operating in te ao Māori or a demonstrated commitment to developing this capability

Why join us

At MDC, you'll be part of a progressive, people-focused organisation that values professionalism, innovation, and collaboration. Based in Feilding, you'll enjoy the benefits of working in a connected community with a proud rural heart and easy access to both city and countryside.

We offer a supportive and a family-friendly working environment, professional development opportunities, and the chance to make a real impact on the future of the Manawatū.

The salary range for this role is $100k to $135k (Mid-point is $117k) determined by the experience you bring. We also offer a range of staff benefits, including 5 weeks' annual leave for all employees.
