Reticulation Serviceperson

We're on the lookout for a Reticulation Serviceperson to join our team and help maintain the Manawatū reticulation network. If you enjoy hands-on work and are passionate about delivering top-quality services to our community, this role is for you!

An apprenticeship-type scheme would be considered for the right applicant. All training would be provided.

About the role

  • Conduct regular maintenance, monitoring and repairs on reticulation systems.
  • Respond to service requests and emergency callouts.
  • Assist with projects and system upgrades.
  • Maintain high safety standards in line with the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015.
  • Keep accurate records and maintenance schedules.

About you

We are looking for someone with:

  • 1 - 3 years' experience with water, wastewater and stormwater reticulation maintenance or a practical aptitude in mechanical and electrical skills
  • A National Certificate in Water/Wastewater Reticulation (Level 3) or prepared to study towards this qualification (employer-funded)
  • Ability to work safely and independently
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Current full driver's licence and experience with 4WD utes
  • Competent in the use of computers and office software
  • Adaptability and a drive for continuous improvement

What we offer

The salary range for the Reticulation Serviceperson is $58k- $79k and the salary range for the Reticulation Apprentice is $53k - $72k. The salary offered will depend on the qualifications and experience of the successful candidate.
