Executive Assistant to the Mayor

As our Executive Assistant to the Mayor, you'll play a key role in making the Mayor's busy schedule and workload run smoothly. You'll manage all the usual office administration on behalf of the Mayor, as well as hosting events, helping look after our elected members and working with the wider Council administrative support. You'll be the sort of person who's happy to pitch in and lend a hand wherever it's needed.

You'll need to bring these with you:

  • 2- 3 years' experience in a support role to a senior executive (or similar) handling sensitive and confidential information
  • Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to multi-task
  • Strong IT skills (MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PDF)
  • The ability and confidence to effectively communicate with a wide range of people
  • A practical approach and a sense of humour
  • Willingness to work outside normal office hours as required

The salary range for the role is $64,000 to $77,200 with five weeks' annual leave.
